1 month.

That's right-Hadley is 1 month old!

Looking at this picture of her (above) coming home from the hospital, she already seems so much bigger! This first month has been a roller coaster-

Hadley has no problem sleeping- once she is OUT, until then she will fight it!
We try to sleep whenever, and wherever we can.
She loves baths, and tummy time
She's really good at hearing me come into a room and POP she's awake and spots me immediately...then there is no hope of her going back to sleep.
We've had a few set backs this month... I injured my back pretty severely and was on loads of medicine. I had to recruit back up to help me everyday for about a week and a half when Brock was at work since I couldn't even lift my little girl!
Hadley came down with an awful virus that caused congestion, coughing, and an ear infection (another form of RSV). There were many nights I would just sit with her in the bathroom with the shower going in hopes that the steam would help her a little bit. Nothing worse than knowing your little one doesn't feel well and you can't make it better!
We had an ultrasound for her hips- because she was breech, first born, and a girl she has a higher risk of hip dysplasia. This is completely correctable if caught early, so for the next few months we will be tracking it and watching it! Fingers crossed it corrects itself!
Knox is the best big brother- anytime Hadley cries he immediately goes to the window closest to her and either sits and stares or howls with her cries. Adorable, but the howling when Hadley howls is starting to annoy momma!
Despite the exhaustion that has set in at our house- somehow when this little girl falls asleep on your chest, or just cuddles with you, you forget all about the late nights and the screaming!
This is our chaotic attempt at a family photo. Brock barely smiling, Knox more interested in my phone than sitting still, Hadley crying, and momma smiling! That's about right!

Brock's famous philosophy of 1+1 does not equal 2, but 3, seems to have played out in our case...

This little girl sure makes us smile.
(and currently, VERY tired)

A big thank you to Danielle for capturing miss hadley and our little family.
