grandma fun.

Grandma Andrus watched two of her grandkids this past week- and because of this, we got to partake of all the fun she had planned for them! One of the days we went to the aquarium. You know hads was a fan of this:

The next adventure we went on was "Sharkarosa". Don't let the name fool you. It has nothing to do with sharks. it is a mini wildlife zoo in Pilot Point. Hads had never seen some of these animals in person- she wasn't quite sure about some of them- but warmed up and loved it.

Thanks Grandma! We had so much fun!

hottest half.

I have never run a more miserable half marathon. I was not prepared. It was a last minute decision. I was sick all week. It was hot.
but..I did it.

yellow, circle, bubble.

Every now and then a blog post of a single video is necessary when you capture something as adorable as this:
{ignore the drool, & focus on her cuteness while she says my current 3 favorite hadley words}

lake day.

It's a tradition with my friends that they take their kids to the beach area on lake Lewisville the week before school starts as a 'last days of summer' event.
Hads was too small last year, so I didn't go.
This was her first lake experience- she was a big fan.
Love my job.

ntx rodeo.

we are lucky enough to be able to go every year to the North Texas Fair & Rodeo because JP Farms (Brock's family) competes in the Rodeo- which means Brian (oldest brother) gets his group together and takes on the competition in all things country!
I had a proud aunt moment watching my niece Payton (Brian's daughter) riding with him during the opening.
 Hads had a great time watching the "horseee and cow"
Wish I had better pictures, but I wasn't feeling 100% and didn't bring my big girl camera or move from my seat much. Until next time NTX Fair & Rodeo!
