halloween 2014.

second star to the right, and straight on till morning.
This year hadley requested to be a "green fairy". I fully supported this decision and with the help of the internet, and my mom (I waited way last minute this year)- we created the perfect tinkerbell costume for little miss hads.
She was SO excited about halloween and asked me every day for the past 2 weeks if it was halloween yet. Anytime someone would come over, she would ask if they wanted to see her costume.
When halloween finally came- she bounced out of bed and said "TODAY IS HALLOWEEN!!" She had picked out her skull dress to wear to school for the halloween party. (thanks to geemaw staying with baby, I was able to go!)
We made cupcakes for her party the day before.
At her party we decorated cookies, played games, sang songs, and made mummy dogs!
After school I told her nana was coming over to do her 'fairy makeup'- I've never seen a little girl light up and jump around so much.
I think she is the prettiest little tinkerbell I have ever seen
{sprinkling 'pixie dust' - she said}
Then it was trick or treating time with the cousins
{beckam was there- but my paranoid self had him bundled up in his stroller away from crowds}
{all the andrus girls -minus- Breann. Little ladybug was sleeping in her stroller}
Little Miss Tinkerbell was being stubborn and wouldn't listen to her mama- It was really cold, I told her to let me put her coat on her, or a long sleeve shirt, but "no mama! that's not part of my costume!" So... maybe an hour into trick or treating... she was cold and moving really slowly. She tried to convince me she was "fine" and wanted to keep going but I scooped her up and carried her home. She didn't seem to mind- snuggled right into my shoulder and almost fell asleep on the walk back.
Happy Halloween!
{to get hads to smile and look at the camera at the same time- is near impossible these days}
