family pictures 2014.

As if pictures with an almost 3yr old aren't hard enough, lets add a newborn.
luckily my sis-in-law is amazing and always manages to capture something!
{family pictures 2014}
love this crazy family of mine.
Brock likes the fact he has 1 full year until he has to do this again- and then we can wrangle an almost 4 year old and 1 year old! Get ready Danielle!

first haircut.

Hadley got her first hair cut {trim} today!
Aunt Michelle is the only one allowed to touch Hadley's hair, and so she graciously (pregnant with twins and all) came over to give my hadders her first trim.
I wasn't able to get an after picture because hads was too excited her cousin Rush was over to play. Aunt Michelle trimmed up the back so it was even and cut a little bit of layers so it didn't look so scraggly. This was taken the next day though when she insisted her hair be down and with a "baid" (braid in the back- half up half down). She is going around telling everyone she got a hair cut :)

dallas zoo.

My sister had tickets to come out a visit for awhile now. We planned it so that she could see the new house, new baby, and much bigger hadley!
I never seem to take pictures when she visits... but, we did do a girl's day and took hadley to the Dallas Zoo, shopping, and dinner! She loved it.
My favorite part was watching/helping hads feed the giraffes
We love having 'aunt ashy' in town!

1 month.

This handsome face is 1 month old.
I can not believe he is already a month old... It has been easier in some ways and harder in others, this time- but in the end, all too fast. He is so snuggly and scrumptious, we just can't get enough.
We brought him home to the other house and 2 weeks later, moved into the new house. It's been a whirlwind.

Hadley is so cute with him- she'll ask to hold him, feed him, help change him. But you better be near by, because as soon as she's finished. She's finished. hah
A few of my favorites:
She gets right close to him when he cries and whispers "stop crying! stop crying! stop crying!"
She will ask me "Can I touch his head?" "Can I touch his hands?" etc
She will just randomly come up to him, clasp her hands together and say "He's just sooo cute!!"
I agree hads.
Little man is a pretty decent sleeper. However, for the first few weeks, if I was anywhere near, he would refuse to sleep in his bed and would only sleep cuddled up against me in bed. So, I would have to be awake (I won't sleep with a baby in the bed for fear of rolling on them, getting a blanket on their face etc) But, for the past 4 days he has actually been sleeping 930-330/4 at night- then will eat again and go down until 7-8! Not too shabby! Hopefully it lasts.
fresh from a bath- is that not the best hair you've ever seen?!
He is very dramatic with his little facial expressions. I just love them so. The frowny face with little pout noise might be my favorite.
He also expects you to have a bottle ready THE MOMENT he wakes up. There's no waiting around for food- he will be MAD.

He loves to nap on his tummy, in the middle of the floor. He also loves just staring out the big windows.
With the new house, hads, and brock going out of town more lately- it's harder to get the snuggles in- but I find them! Especially thanks to wonderful family who has helped so much with the house, hadley, baby, - everything! love them.
 my boys
His hair, his eyes, his little feet, that baby smell- oh my goodness, I can't get enough.
stop growing so fast!
