I have wanted to run Ragnar for a long time- and this year, I finally got the opportunity!
We met up with some good friends in Utah and had the best weekend.
For those who don't know what Ragnar is- here's an explanation from the website:
You and 11 of your craziest friends (or 5 of your crazier friends for an ultra team) pile into two vans and tag team running 200(ish) miles, day and night, relay-style. Only one runner hits the road at a time. Each participant runs three times, with each leg ranging between 2.5-10 miles and varying in difficulty.
Here' s just some moments from the race:
{brock: 14.5ish miles - me: just under 19miles}
It was unbelievably hot running at 4 in the afternoon, on winding highway- in the middle of the mountains.
note to self: don't listen to a podcast about a murder while running around a lake, in the middle of nowhere, at 3am. I may have moved a little faster because of it.
 Heather ran Ragnar Hill- and DOMINATED!
I was stoked I was finished with my last leg.

 Van two. We made up all the time van 1 was behind and finished 30minutes ahead of the schedule. We placed 165th of 719 coed teams. Not too shabby considering we were only responsible for our legs!
We were sore and tired - that's an understatment.
{brock was waaay too ticklish to be rolled out. it was hilarious. he giggled like a school girl and danny kept calling him a pansy}
 Thanks for such a fun weekend everyone!
I'm ready to tackle another Ragnar course- who wants to join us!?
