walker & lover.

little man has refused to stand on his own or walk without holding on to something for forever now.
He's getting so big- and still so cute!
However, tonight- he took off! First official steps.
I think we will have a walker very very soon.
He has also, this week, learned how to blow kisses :)

1, 2, 3- daisies!

Hadley's first soccer season is in the books!
For being 1-1.5yrs younger than all but one girl on her team- I give her an A :)
Her favorite games were when she was playing one of her best friends, Kamryn. It was during these games we would get the best laughs. These two could chat with each other and not even realize the ball was between their feet until another girl would shove them out of the way. Classic.
She had some movements of greatness-
and some moments of being 3 :)
Most importantly- she LOVED it
and has already asked me when her next practice and game is- as well as if I will still be her coach
win. win.
Go Daisies!

veteran's day.

So many people to honor on veteran's day-
my Peepaw & brock's grandfather being top of our list.
We went to Brock's grandfather's grave today, with some of the cousins, to put out some flags. It's a tradition we try to do every year.

Happy veteran's day- and thank you to all those who have served and are currently serving.

had a girlie night with my hadley!
we went to see Mary Poppins at the nearby High School. Some may think that she is too little to sit through a 3+ hour play- but not my hadley! She is so obsessed with musicals.
She sat through the entire thing- wide eyed- even at 10 o'clock at night.
She afterwards went on telling me how badly she wanted to be in a play, more specifically- a Mickey Mouse play and that she wanted to play Daisy Duck. :) Maybe some day!
