women's conference.

I had the opportunity to go to Women's Conference in the Conference Center this past weekend. My friend Meagan came with me and we made a whole evening of it!
Such an amazing experience. Loved it.

children's museum.

We headed out on another adventure today with Mel & her kiddos. Today we went to the Children's Museum for the first time- my germ anxiety was at an all time high, but the kiddos had a blast!
Then it was home to a full bowl of fresh snow (we put out before we left), and I made some snow ice cream, just like my mama used to do. Brought back childhood memories.

first hike.

Being outdoorsy people- one thing we are super excited about living here in Utah, is all the outdoor things to do! We live on a mountain, so we are surrounded my trails. You can only imagine how much we love this. When the snow finally melted, and we felt it was safe enough/not muddy & icy we took the kids out for the first time to explore a bit.
I think we have a few trail runners/hikers in our family- and I couldn't love it more!!

official utah zoo members.

Went with my fun friend Melissa and her two kids to the zoo today! We are now officially members of the Utah Zoo! It was so much fun, and a great zoo
It's always a successful day when this is how you leave somewhere...before you even pull out of the parking lot.

Within the first few weeks of us moving to Utah, it was my birthday. I'm a big birthday person- I don't care who you are, we celebrate! But, when it came to this year, I really wasn't expecting much. We don't have sitters lined up yet and my normal family birthday gatherings couldn't happen...but, I was surprised.
These ladies have no idea how much today, and they mean to me. These are dear friends of mine from when brock and I first got married- then we all moved away- and now we all I've in the same area gain! The kind of friendship that picks up like it never left off. They surprised me with a day full of fun, food, and laughs for my birthday. When moving to a new state away from a lot of our family and friends, these ladies helped fill a hole today and I love them for that.
I had to make my own birthday cake... which was fine, but just not the same lol
and I received several sweet packages from family and friends in the mail.
This one was from my sweet sis-in-law Britta.
and maybe a few gifts for myself ;)
Thank you to everyone who made me feel loved and special on my birthday!!
